Let’s work together.

Types of Therapy Offered

  • Embracing a life that supports the truest version of yourself can be tough in a world that doesn’t fully support it.

Whether you're trying to find balance between caring for others and yourself, navigating life transitions, managing the impacts of ADD, or looking for more in your sex life and relationships, individual therapy can help. Individual therapy can lead you to a deeper understanding of yourself, offer you the ability to break free from roles and patterns that no longer serve you, and help you cultivate a life that feels like yours with genuine support.

These outcomes can happen through your participation in the process of therapy, all taking place within a safe, non-judgmental space. Here you’ll have permission and support to explore all facets of yourself, clarify what you really want and need, and gain strategies to work through fears that might hold you back from the life you want.

  • Women and female bodied people experience unique challenges- like hormonal shifts that impact mood and focus, unique presentations of ADHD that are often misdiagnosed, reproductive health concerns dismissed by some medical providers despite direct impacts on health and well-being, challenges to bodily autonomy and access to care, disparities in expectations around household work, child care, and emotional labor, and more.

Therapy can provide a safe space for women like you to explore the impacts of these systemic disparities on your well-being, offer support and coping strategies, and help you advocate and care for yourself more confidently in medical settings, relationships, work places, and more.

  • ADHD is a type of brain functioning that can lead to challenges with focus, impulse control, emotional regulation, time management, organization, and relationships. Research shows that people with ADHD also more commonly suffer migraines, digestive issues, and insomnia.

Therapy can help you determine if ADHD might be a factor in what you’re experiencing, develop coping strategies to find relief from challenges, and learn how to advocate for yourself in a world that is not built for neurodiverse brain functioning.

  • Embracing your sexuality and allowing yourself to experience emotional and physical intimacy can be difficult, especially if you have or currently experience sexual pain, shame, trauma, or are marginalized by society. It’s possible with the help of therapy though.

Sex and relationship therapy can help you gain relief from mental health concerns related to sex. Sessions might include talking through topics like healing from painful sex, past or current experiences of sexual trauma, feelings of sexual shame or your desires for your sex life and relationships.

Sex and relationship therapy can also provide a safe space for you to explore and more deeply understand your sexual identity, authentic sexual expression, or alternative relationship structures like consensual non-monogamy or polyamory.

It’s important to note that sex and relationship therapy never involves any kind of touch or sexual contact. It is traditional talk therapy focused on the topics of sex and relationships.
